A Call to Go
On April 13th, Isaac & Donia announced that they would be moving to Gettysburg, PA, where Isaac will be the Pastor of Discipleship. Their last Sunday will be May 21st. We don't know who our next lead pastor will be but New Hope will be guided well during this season.

CHURCH COUNCIL
Our next Lead Pastor will be appointed by the District with input from the Church Council. Our Church Council manages the operations of the Church and ensures that we are fiscally responsible with our resources.
Our Church Council Members are Bob Smith, Bobette Prowell, Rob Larson, and Debbie Ridenour.

We know that change is hard and want to ease the anxiety of this transition by keeping you informed throughout the process.
5/28 UPDATE
While we await our next pastor's appointment, George and the staff will continue to lead the church.
We are looking forward to a great summer as we learn from a variety of speakers.
We will begin by studying the 23rd Psalm. This series will offer a message of hope and assurance of God's presence.
5/21 UPDATE
Today marks the end of the Hovet Years at New Hope. We are sad to see the Hovets go but are excited to send them into their Gettysburg Years.
This summer we will hear from our staff pastors as well as hearing from our friends from around the district.

We would like to introduce you to Caleb & Jessica Erdmanczyk. Caleb & Jessica will be taking on the role of Kids Pastor! Caleb & Jessica are excited to step into this role working with our kids, families, and volunteers.
4/30 update
George Nix is our Outreach Pastor and during this season of transition he will be taking on the role of Interim Pastor. With support of the staff, council and district leadership, George will serve as the primary leader and representative of the church during this time, overseeing day-to-day operations, providing spiritual guidance, and ensuring the continued health and growth of the congregation.

This week the staff and council will meet with David Eddy, our District Associate Supervisor in charge of Transitions. Pray for fruitful conversations!
