Arrival and Release
We request that you give an average daily time of arrival and departure for your child. This helps us in scheduling adequate staff to care for the children in attendance. All children must be accompanied into the center and signed in by an adult. All children must be accepted by staff before the parent/guardian leaves.
At departure each child must be signed out by the adult they are released to. Children will only be released to a person with the authorized pin code and appropriate I.D. In case of emergency, a parent may call the center to make emergency arrangements. Children are to be picked up by 6 pm. A late fee is charged for parents picking up children past 6:00 pm. The late charge is $1.00 for every minute with a 5-minute grace period. If an incapacitated person or a person suspected of child abuse attempts to pick up a child, the police will be notified. Custodial parents have access to and are welcome in this facility during all hours of operation and can take their child from the center without advance notice.
Any child who shows signs of illness, as defined below, will be isolated and parent notified and asked to remove the child from the center as soon as possible. A doctor’s note may be required in order to return to care. Contagious diseases will be reported to the Health Department.
Guidelines for Exclusion Due to Illness:
Your child must be symptom free (including no fever) for 24 hours with no fever reducing medication before returning to school.
